Privacy Policy

When you create an account: your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

When you submit a job: the uploaded file (your .tex or .zip project) and optional metadata (template choice, problem description). We do not collect your name, institution, or any other personal information.

When you make a payment: billing is handled entirely by DodoPayments. We receive only a confirmation of payment and a customer ID. We never see or store your card details.

Files are deleted automatically after 48 hours. We store input and output files only long enough for you to download your results.

We do not read, index, or use your uploaded LaTeX files for any purpose other than processing your job. Your unpublished research is not used for training, analytics, or shared with any third party.

• Email: to identify your account and send transactional messages (password reset, payment confirmation). We do not send marketing emails.
• Job history: stored so you can review past submissions. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.
• Usage counts: we track the number of jobs processed per account to enforce plan limits. This is not shared.

• DodoPayments - payment processing. Subject to their privacy policy.
• Railway - backend hosting (API, database, job queue). Files and database are stored on Railway infrastructure.
• Netlify - frontend hosting. No user data is stored on Netlify beyond standard access logs.
• Anthropic (Claude API) - used for the optional "explain your problem" feature. If you fill in the problem description field, that text is sent to Claude Haiku for analysis. No file content is sent to Anthropic.

We use a single authentication token stored in your browser's localStorage. No tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, no analytics beyond basic server request logs.

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Use our contact form with the subject "Delete my account" and we will process it within 7 days.

If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR / UK GDPR including access, rectification, and erasure. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All traffic is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Database access is restricted to our API service only.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
